Las week we presented at the 13th <a href=\"https:\/\/ispt-conference.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Symposium on Polymer Therapeutics: from Laboratory to Clinical Practice (ISPT 2022)<\/a> and at the <a href=\"https:\/\/poly-char2022.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Polymer Characterization Forum POLY-CHAR 2022<\/a>.\u00a0This is a quick summary of our communications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master student <strong>Ms Nadia Garc\u00eda Parra<\/strong> presented a poster about \u00ab<strong>Poly(vinylidene fluoride) microspheres containing cobalt iron oxide nanoparticles<\/strong>\u00bb This material is produced by microfluidics with a functional coating that includes a silica precursor and extracellular matrix proteins. The system is designed as a cell culture environment for the proliferation and electromechanical stimulation of mesenchymal stem cells, promoting their differentiation towards the osteogenic lineage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/cbit.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/congreso_nadia-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-779\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cbit.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/congreso_nadia-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/cbit.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/congreso_nadia-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/cbit.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/congreso_nadia-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https:\/\/cbit.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/congreso_nadia.jpeg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduate student Ms J\u00falia Pl\u00e0 Salom presented her work on <strong>a 3D culture environment for a Multiple Myeloma (MM) in vitro model<\/strong>, that is based on dextran microspheres functionalized with biomolecules from the bone marrow&#8217;s extracellular matrix.
